  The Deck-it U Channel is the way to finish all Deck-it installations and is also the ideal answer for the sides and rear of a stair tread. The U Channel has a longitudinally applied set or ribs which make it exceptionally non-slip. 

  Note from the images that the U Channel is 'pinched' in its appearance, this is because when opened up and fitted over the sides or ends of the boards it needs no fixings to hold it in place. This means that it can be removed for cleaning as it also acts as a duct to carry rainwater away from the boards surface.
  Use Deck-it U Channel to finish both the sides and ends of boards, Deck-it U Channel is also designed to fit over the starter strip so no need for complicated mitre cuts.
  Easy to fix
