  The SMART BRIDGE is an in-lite SMART system accessory that creates a bridge to the internet in order to integrate with ‘smart home’ systems like Google Home, Apple Home kit and Amazon Alexa. Lighting can also be activated with voice commands.

  • SMART BRIDGE is fully automatic. Need an update? No problem. You can easily update the SMART HUB firmware through a fixed internet connection.

  Installation advice:

  Indoors, as close as possible to the SMART HUB using the 0.5 metre ethernet cable provided, i.e. to the internet router.

  The SMART BRIDGE is an in-lite SMART system accessory that creates a bridge to the internet in order to operate and adjust outdoor lighting from anywhere in the world. Firmware updates for SMART HUBs can also be downloaded and installed quickly and easily. But the best feature is the possibility to integrate the in-lite SMART system with ‘smart home’ systems like Google Home, Apple Homekit and Amazon Alexa. Lighting can also be activated with voice commands.

  HOW DOES IT WORK?

  The following elements are neccesary for using Matter:

  1. Matter App
  To start, you'll need an app that supports Matter, such as Google Home, Amazon Alexa, or Apple HomeKit. These apps act as the central control hub, allowing you to manage and customize your smart home devices easily. With Matter integration, these apps ensure seamless setup and interoperability, providing a unified experience across all your devices.

  2. Matter Hub
  Next, a Matter hub is often essential. This hub, often built into smart speakers or dedicated devices, serves as the bridge between your app and your Matter-enabled products. It facilitates communication, ensuring that all your devices work together smoothly and securely.

  3. Matter Products
  Finally, you'll need Matter-compatible products, like in-lite’s SMART BRIDGE. The SMART BRIDGE allows you to integrate and control your outdoor lighting effortlessly. With Matter, you can enjoy enhanced reliability, security, and simplicity, creating a cohesive and intuitive smart home experience.

  HOW CAN I USE MATTER?

  To use Matter, you must have a SMART BRIDGE  and a SMART HUB.

   

  1. Add a SMART BRIDGE to your garden.
  2. Make sure the SMART BRIDGE is up to date and has at least software version, 1.2.6. (it updates automatically when connected to the internet)
  3. Make sure your in-lite app is up to date and has at least version 3.11 (both IOS and Android)
  4. Click on Connect a Matter app.
  5. Copy or save the set up code, keep it safe.
  6. Open the Matter app to which you want to control the in-lite system. *Check with the app manufacturer whether it supports Matter devices via internet/wifi.
  7. In the Matter app, look for the ‘add (matter) device’ button
  8. Follow the instructions in the Matter app
  9. Use the set up code or scan the QR code in the in-lite app.
  10. Make sure your phone is connected to the same network as the SMART BRIDGE .
